I am sure I will have more, but for now… This is it!
Rebecca the Puppet looking out into the city. Wind blowing through her hair. She looks like a super hero! Or at least a Puppet pretending to be one.
The show so far is looking and sounding great! We have learned so much in the short amount of time we have been working on this show.
We are learning about the placement of puppets, how important the face movement and eye contact from the puppets are and how to work swiftly as a group.
I think one of the biggest things for Sean and I, has been learning how to work with a new crew and cast.
For those of you who saw "Flower Shop of Whore-ers", you might know that our crew for that show was literally Myself, Sean, Christine Jovan, Suzil Von, and additions Edoardo Del Armas. We had some great guest crew members: Valentina Zerbini and Nikki Arena for one Episode.
For "Puppet People", we have a small crew, but a much larger crew than this. It has been a learning experience to work with others and not be a 2-4 person crew, as apposed to a 9 person crew!
This group is amazing and they know what they are doing! Some have worked in La, some have worked in NYC with people such as "Up Right Citizens Brigade" and "National Lampoons", and some are very talented locals.
So needless to say, it is great!
Stay tuned for more to come and our newest blog coming soon, talking about puppet placement and technical design of the show!
