DIRECTORS NOTES
Puppet People originally came from the mind of Molly Gazay. When she was living in San Francisco in a house filled with people, she thought it would be hilarious if there were puppets who embodied the different personalities of the housemates. Since everyone was drastically different from the other, it only made perfect sense. The story never went to far in the San Francisco house and was pushed aside for Diabla to do other projects such as Zomburlesque and Flower Shop of Whore-ers, A Mini Web Series.
When Molly and Sean decided to move to Seattle, they had originally intended to produce Zomburlesque as a full out web series. However, after a few months of being there, they quickly realized that the show was going to be more costly than anticipated. The other problem was getting to know people in the area who might be interested. So, they decided to put down the Zombies and pick up the puppets!
The story has morphed and become drastically different that what it was then. No split personality types, the puppets are all there own. The People are different due to the creative flow of artistic energy and there are real to life musical #'s.
And now… Diabla Productions has finished filming "Puppet People" as of October 2nd, 2014!
several years later and 11 episodes in the making, Sean O'Connor and Molly Gazay, are working diligently to edit and add SFX to the crazy puppet adventure and bring it to a computer and hopefully web series festival near you!
Until then, we hope you enjoy our website and the hard work everyone in Seattle, wa put into the show!
UPDATE: Sean and Molly have moved to New York City and will be working on the show, blogs and other shows soon!
